In this review we look at Lucidal to decide if it is the right product to help your brain improve its function.

There is a large amount of ingredients present in this product. The manufacturer does not state why they chose to include so many ingredients in the supplement. Most of the ingredients have been researched scientifically, but we feel including so many shows a lack of understanding of possible biological interactions of ingredients and possibly a lack of confidence in individual ingredients.

The B vitamins are mostly associated with the metabolism of a substance called homocysteine. In the brain, increasing levels of homocysteine have been associated with brain degeneration. Vitamins A and C have a variety of roles in general cell health but the main effects that are understood are that they exhibit are help with vision and a role in the biosynthesis of the connective tissue that surrounds the brain. Vitamin D helps the immune system function optimally and vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant which removes free radicals from the cells so that they don't cause tissue damage.

Magnesium, zinc, selenium, chromium and potassium are important cofactors of enzymes in brain cells and play a role in the signaling from one cell to another.

DMAE bitartrate acts on the brain cell membranes and increases the energy production of the cells. Choline is a precursor for the important excitatory neurotransmitter - acetylcholine. Huperzine A and Ginkgo biloba a plant extracts which have been shown in scientific studies to protect brain cells from degeneration and to enhance cognitive functioning.

Our Review Summary Of Lucidal

We note that the majority of the ingredients included in this product have scientific research to back up their effects. However, we believe that far too many ingredients have been included in this product which may cause adverse effects or the benefits of each ingredient may cancel out due to their interactions. The directions for use of this product are slightly ambiguous so customers may experience decreased results.

We also believe the price of this product to be extremely high considering that there is not definite evidence of a guarantee or refund if the product does not work as intended.
